Something to consider: What other data would one might want from the manifest? Dependencies? Description? Homepage? All of the above? |

Def should have dependencies. Description would be nice but not required, same for homepage |

I added proper manifests to the remotes specification. Reviews are greatly appreciated, especially by users, developers, along with maintainers of alternative implementations.
