chore: Update Go version to 1.24.6

This PR updates the Go version from 1.24.0 to 1.24.6 across the repository.

Changes

• Update main go.mod from 1.24.0 to 1.24.6
• Update scripts/go/go.mod from 1.24.0 to 1.24.6
• Update toolchain directive to go1.24.6

Why

This addresses the failing PR #262 which was trying to update to Go 1.24.2 but had merge conflicts. By updating to the latest available Go 1.24.6, we ensure the repository uses the most recent stable Go version.

Testing

• go mod tidy runs successfully
• No breaking changes introduced
• Both go.mod files updated consistently

This is a straightforward toolchain update that should resolve the CI failures from the original PR.
