HTTP sink URI template variables not working for Doris multi-table writing

Question

I'm using Vector's HTTP sink component to write data to Apache Doris. Currently, I have successfully implemented writing to a single table with a fixed URI.

However, I want to use the same HTTP sink to write to multiple Doris tables dynamically. I tried using template variables in the URI like {{ index }} or {{.index}}, but neither worked. The variables either get URL-encoded or cause configuration errors.

The templateable uri in the http sink was added by #23288, which first appeared in Vector 0.49

You seem to be running Vector/0.42.0, please update your Vector version to the latest and try this again and it should work if you are getting an event with the index field
