Trouble running local server

I tried to run both production and dev builds and both times I got the following error from Firefox:

An error occurred during a connection to localhost:3000. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

I get similar from Chrome.

Did you maybe try top open localhost:3000 with https instead of http?

i can reproduce this behavior:

1. starting the server local in production mode with npm run start or yarn start
   => Now https is enforced caused of production mode.
2. stop local server
3. start server local in dev mode with npm run dev or yarn dev
4. https redirection is still there.

But if you open it in another browser or in a private session there is no https redirection.
I think this is a browser behavior to remember/cache the xfp (x-forwarded-proto) header from server.js
