I removed pulse ... it left a bunch of .service entries in /etc/systemd/system/

I removed pulse and will use it again when it is better (too many issues, updates, temp not showing, etc)

Recent releases shipped too many regressions and noisy updates—that's on me. Temperature reporting was always tricky to do securely, which is why the proxy + bind mount exists now. The pulse-sensor-* units live on the host for that proxy; pull the current installer from your Pulse box, run it with uninstall flags, and it will tear out the services, helper scripts, socket dir, and service user even from older installs. Sitting on an older build until things calm down is totally fine. Run this from the Pulse box you installed from.

If any pulse-* unit files are still in /etc/systemd/system afterward, list the exact paths and I'll treat it as a bug.

Need the exact paths that remain after running install-sensor-proxy.sh --uninstall --purge. Also confirm whether the script logged any errors. Without that I cannot fix the cleanup.

**Started from scratch, ran the official install script.

It would be nice if I could select the container id, it starts with 100 but since I am on pve5 I like the containers to start with 500.
Got an ip, all looks good. Able to login. Note, bring the Dark Mode to the main page instead of finding it in Settings | General

Installer already prompts for the container ID. When it prints Container ID [100]: type the number you want or run CTID=500 ./install.sh to force it; nothing else is changing there.

Dark theme stays under Settings > General until the per-user preference store is rewritten, so expect it there for now.

The uninstall script lives behind /api/install on the UI port (7655). Hit that endpoint or pull the script from GitHub if the Pulse box is offline. Run the purge command like this.
