Compatibility with linux servers #587

I second this. For the developer: would it be difficult to create a monitoring agent for debian servers/pcs that could report back stats to pulse? I'm sure it would be very difficult for windows and perhaps also for non-debian installs, but I'd hope less so for debian systems such as TrueNAS or debian servers/desktops. I'd hugely use this feature if so offered. Great work. Pulse is absolutely excellent and highly appreciated. Thank you. |

This is coming in the next release (v4.26.0). The pulse-host-agent will monitor Linux hosts including Debian, reporting OS name/version, kernel, uptime, CPU model/count/load, memory totals/usage, disk capacity, and network interface counters. You can test it now by installing from the main branch: curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rcourtman/Pulse/main/install.sh | bash -s -- --sourceOnce v4.26.0 is released, installation will be available via Settings → Agents → Host agents, and hosts will appear in the Servers tab. Wonderful news! Thank you, rcourtman, both for taking the time to answer my question as well as for continuing to make an excellent utility even more useful. |
