can't go to pre-op for some beckhoff devices

Device: EL5002, a SSI module

the module works well in pure SOEM, and transfer to PRE-OP mode successfully after function ec_config_map. However, the transfer doesn't happen using this library, beside, modules like EL3008 etc. works well using this library.

Can you eleborate a bit in more detail what the issue is.
From our experience the whole setup procedure in the device code is often very tricky.
Can you perhaps share some code? In the best case what you tried to implement with this library and what you did in pure SOEM?
