From waht i gather what you want is option to always hide bottom bar permanently, giving maximum screen space for reading while keeping top bar/menu accessible, as in a toggel option for same right ?

I have implemented the code for it have to confirm its working and will PR it en also ngl that was a minor issue i faced too thanks to this issue that resurfaced my mind :)
