Update to support Gnome 45

Hello my friend!

I don't know how much work it can turn to be, but it would be very good to have the extension working again, after updating to Gnome 45.

Many thanks for all your efforts, and for providing this good extension!

Have you tried to change the version in metadata.json from "45.0.0" to "46"?

Hi there, Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't seem to work hier. This is the Message you get, once you set to ignore version proofing and installs it, even "tweaking" the metadata.js with matching version: <...> SyntaxError: import declarations may only appear at top level of a module @ resource:///org/gnome/Shell/Extensions/js/misc/extensionUtils.js:4:0 Stack trace: @file:///home/user/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ssh-quick- ***@***.***/prefs.js:3:24 ***@***.***:///org/gnome/gjs/mo dules/core/overrides/GLib.js:266:34 <...> The Gnome "nerds" have done it again, and seem to have pushed through yet another "global" change to which all extensions will have to be adapted. Let's hope that with some time, supporters can implement changes to the "again" and "again" new Gnome damns. Many thanks and greetings! Currently works with Gnome 46 on Ubuntu 24.04 by just changing metadata.json to "shell-version": [ "46" ],

Hi @careca1970
You can't install that way. You need to download the zip file from github master branch, and rename the folder to be the same name as you downloaded from the extensions website when ignoring the version and rename the one from the extensions website. Then change the gnome-shell to 46 then run compile the schemea as per the instructions.
