I come in a time of mere desperation (i'm not doing too much here)

I've read the source and trying to implement from scratch so the taskbar is transparent for a simple project of mine.
4hours on it to understand that the method "SetBlur" is actually not the one to set the taskbar transparent. (skill issue)

but. i've also learned reading your code the importance of great alpha programming using Thread.Sleep every 5 line, needless to say it's now my motto

I've somewhat understood that you are using the same method as the debug tool Live Visual Tree in vs to perform this.
I've been able to reproduce the effect manually with attaching my program to explorer.exe, finding the TaskBarFrame and setting the BackgroundFille to opacity 0.

but, in code (I'm using C# also) I've not been able to understand how your c++ DLL is working when injected and why for exemple don't you use InitializeXamlDiagnosticsEx (i've seen it in the code but coudn't find any refs). Also i'm having a hard time understanding how can I interact with the COM XamlDiagnostics.

would you be kind to take the time to help me grasp the concept in pm ? do you have discord ?
