How to mass migrate all games that use exactly one version to another

When I update Proton-GE for example I only want to change the compatibility tool for the games that are currently using the old version.
I can't seem to find a way to do that. I would have to manually select them and use Mass edit or am I missing something?

Right now yes.
How would you like it to work exactly?
I can think of a few ways, but if you tell me which one would feel the best that would help me make a decision and implement something like it.

Maybe a button in the Runners tab "Change all games using this tool"
that goes to the Games tab and selects all games that have that runner as compatibility tool selected, then I could use mass edit, enable Compatibility tool and select the new version.

The only problem with that would be that it's not that clear.
Here is how it's on PortonUp-Qt:
You click on the compatibility tool, then see the list of games and there's a batch update button for that

Maybe you can also take inspiration from that
