One of the problem I find is the top screw that act as a tensioner for the gears.
- It is really close to the tape switch lever and has limited range. If left too high it can prevent the tape switch lever from stopping the motor.
- The film goes over it and prevent easy access to it. It is slightly awkward when removing the film. We normally need to remove the film when changing components or if the film jams.
May I suggest something like this below?
- Relocating the screw at the back will allow easy access to the screw for removal and maintenance. Plus the range of tensioning will not be limited.
- Also we could use a small screw knob for not having to use an allen key.
I would do the change if I knew more about scad but I am more a freecad guy.
Let us know what you guys think of that solution?
