MultiCam Calibration

Hello,

I am having a issue with multi-camera calibration. I am using three D435i cameras (one as master/two as slave). I am already done on chip calibration one by one and I heard that I need to do multi-cam calibration again. Can you help me how to do, how to find the documents or software needed to do calibration

Hi @aungkyweoo22 Calibrating multiple cameras together with each other is not usually required for a master-slave hardware sync setup. Individual calibration with On-Chip should be sufficient.

As an alternative to performing a calibration, you can reset each camera to its factory-new calibration values in the RealSense Viewer tool using instructions at #10182 (comment)

These calibration tools are built into the camera firmware driver and do not require the installation of additional software.

It is possible to calibrate multiple cameras simultaneously by purchasing a $1500 USD OEM Calibration Target board product. This board is aimed at manufacturing facilities and engineering departments though and will not be required for calibration by most RealSense users.
