Failed install HyDE from scratch because of .zshenv file

Hey @kRHYME7 , I'm installing HyDE here in a VM to do some tests, and I face with this problem.

The problem happens in a oh-my-zsh installation step

I think the problem is because this line, on restore_shl.sh file.
In this case, wouldn't it be necessary to copy the file first?

The error, is because the file doens't exist yet in OS

restore-cfg.sh comes first and should have populated the file, unless it fails. maybe zsh is not successfully installed?

I tried again here, and I noticed that another error happens before that.
Apparently, it's on this line here: https://github.com/HyDE-Project/HyDE/blob/master/Configs/.local/lib/hyde/theme.switch.sh#L222

I'm trying to figure out what's causing it.

We can just ignore the error, I'll update the script to handle it gracefully.

Hey @kRHYME7 , I think I found the issue.

I made a small install script that basically just comments out some entries in the pkg_core.lst file. Something like this:

core_packages_file="pkg_core.lst"

# sed -i 's/^eza|zsh/# &/' "$core_packages_file"
sed -i 's/^eza|fish/# &/' "$core_packages_file"
# sed -i 's/^zsh-theme-powerlevel10k-git|zsh/# &/' "$core_packages_file"
sed -i 's/^pokego-bin|zsh/# &/' "$core_packages_file"
sed -i 's/^code/# &/' "$core_packages_file"
sed -i 's/^firefox/# &/' "$core_packages_file"

clear
./install.sh

I commented those lines out just as a matter of personal preference — for example, I use lsd instead of eza, and so on.

And I commented out the ones related to zsh because I use starship as my prompt, so I don’t use the Powerlevel10k theme (zsh-theme-powerlevel10k-git).

After yesterday’s error, I ran this test now. I didn’t touch these lines from the previous zsh config:

• eza|zsh
• zsh-theme-powerlevel10k-git

Apparently it worked — everything ran fine on my end.

you can create a pkg_black.lst file to not include the appllication.

then add your custom list like this in pkg_user.lst.

Also I realized we can make eza and zsh-theme-powerlevel10k-git optional I'll update the script rn.
