How do I not have Hyde manage my oh-my-zsh theme?

The docs mentinon that the .zshenv will be overriden with updates but I have no use for p10k as I have a different theme I prefer already.

so for now i just coment out lines 151-157 and 170.

But I would like to know the proper way to do this.

Just uninstall the p10k package no need to comment out any lines in there
