Impact of October 2025 ArcGIS Online Update

Regarding the planned October 2025 update to ArcGIS Online, are there any issues that will impact the ArcGIS API for Python, for which we need to take action proactively?

For example, there is mention of a change in addItem in the REST API, "...it is now essential to include a valid type value." Will their be related changes in the Python API for this for which we need to be prepared?
